McKirchy & Company Project Nominated by The Department of Energy for 2007 Innovations in American Government Award
  • September 11, 2006 -- Know Net, a McKirchy & Company project, was nominated for the 2007 Innovations in American Government Award presented by the Ash Institute for Democratic Governance and Innovation and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.  Know Net was nominated by the Department of Energy in partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services and nine Federal Agencies.

McKirchy & Company receives Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for continued development of Know Net
  • August, 2005 -- McKirchy and Company was chosen in a nationwide competition to continue development of Know Net.

McKirchy & Company project in use Governmentwide
  • July, 2005 -- McKirchy and Company nears completion of its contract for Know Net  using state-of-the art systems, software and instructional design.  Know Net has four lines of business - the SuperSites, the Desk References, the Team Webs and the Learning Management System/Stand Alone Assessment System.  This project is used by Federal Agencies Governmentwide, State and Local Governments, Contractors, Grantees and Citizens.

McKirchy & Company project a Nominee for the 2002 Grace Hopper Leadership in Technology Award
  • July, 2002 -- McKirchy & Company project is nominated for the 2002 Grace Hopper Leadership in Technology Award sponsored by Government Executive Magazine.  Now in its eleventh year, the Government Technology Leadership Awards program continues to recognize federal projects making exceptional contribution to mission accomplishment, cost effectiveness and service to the public. Last year, the awards were given a new name--The Gracies. This new name honors Rear Admiral Grace Hopper, a gutsy technology trailblazer and 43-year Navy veteran deeply committed to promoting innovation.  There are no words to express the deep honor and pride we feel today.

  • December, 2000 -- McKirchy & Company project is named a Finalist for the Excellence in Government Award by the Federal CIO Council, the Industry Advisory Council and the Council for Excellence in Government.  The project was at Advanced Prototype stage when chosen.

McKirchy & Company completes seven electronic learning and performance support projects for five of the largest Agencies in the Federal Government
  • July 13, 1998 -- McKirchy & Company announced completion of seven electronic training and performance support projects for the Federal Government.  The projects were in the Federal acquisition, personnel and property subject areas and were completed for the General Services Administration, the Defense Acquisition University, the U.S. Navy/Marine Corps, Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Health and Human Services and resulted in the publication of 65,000 CD-ROMs.

McKirchy & Company licenses intellectual property to the Federal Government
  • September 30, 1997 -- McKirchy & Company has licensed its patent pending electronic learning and performance support product and process to the Federal Government for use in specific training projects.  Both military and civilian agencies are utilizing McKirchy & Company intellectual property consisting of a complete multimedia content authoring tool and associated methodology and processes.  The company's products, processes and services are also available to the private sector.
